Summary

I am an Assistant Professor of Management at the NYU Stern School of Business at NYU Abu Dhabi. I hold a PhD in Strategic Management from INSEAD (France).

My research primarily examines corporate social impact goals, with a focus on how companies navigate the trade-offs between social welfare-oriented objectives and market-driven goals. My dissertation investigates the benefits and challenges that companies face when pursuing social actions, particularly in terms of employee outcomes. Additionally, I am engaged in research in South Africa, collaborating with a social franchise called Unjani Clinics. My work explores how Unjani's innovative organizational design addresses one of the country’s most pressing issues: access to essential healthcare services. This research has been published in the Journal of Organization Design and INSEAD Knowledge. 

Finally, I am also researching the evolution of innovation ecosystems within the sustainability space. Specifically, I investigate the various roles firms can play in the solar photovoltaic industry and how these roles influence their survival prospects.
